Question - Either Or vs. Both And

A week or so ago I said I had a question I wanted you all to think about that would serve a purpose to help each of us open up our assumptions, which we may or may not know exist, and help us to understand how we think and maybe why we think and believe the way we do. The first thing we need to ask ourselves deals with the type of logic we use, again whether we are aware of it or not. Bear with me as I try to explain.

Given two contradictory statements, philisophically speaking, you have two options.

Option 1:
EITHER Statement 1 is true and Statement 2 is false OR Statement 1 is false and Statement 2 is true. Y

Option 2:
BOTH Statement 1 AND Statement 2 are true.

Now, which logical system do you ascribe to? (EITHER OR / BOTH AND) Why? Explain. Caution, read the above statements again and think very hard about what I'm asking. This will be fun!

Operation Rough Diamond

Hey ranch dudes and dudettes,
Operation "rough diamond"is underway.As you can see from the pictures we have a start, we've begun the clean-up at the barn. The silo picture shows what your view will be while sitting on the front porch of the soon to be cabin. Nice spot for a book and a tall lemonade, don't you think? Notice in the foreground we have quite a bit of junk to haul off. It's going to be a huge improvement, the change will open up the view to the river.

We've met with Southwest Electric friday and can move forward with getting electric to the building--but we need your help. We are asking for any contributions you might be able to afford to help offset the cost of setting the poles and getting a service box. If you want to help with the clean--up or can send a contribution, call us anytime.

I know together we can bring the diamond from the rough.

Return to Gods Countryside Acres

The treehouse inspectors immediately visited a half dozen sites in 2008, knowing there was alot of ground to cover this year.They have dubbed the first photo location as "official home base". Maybe that is where the paintball season will commence. The day was cold and windy. Took a bigger swing through the timber this time and saw several deer which illuded camera shot.We took further assessment of the building gaining.....gaining a strategy. We will soon be able to start the building clean-up. So long for now everybody and Happy New Year.

Looks Like Farmers to Me

Congratulations to everyone ! On friday December the 21st in the a.m.,a farm on the Niangua River in Hickory County Missouri was recorded to be owned by "Steubers" …a whole bunch of 'um.

Two mallard ducks flew as we approached the day we set out to take pictures. It was just after the deer rose up from being bedded down behind the for sale by owner sign the day I stopped my van to get out to take down the telephone numbers. Four bald eagles were circling after dad and I left the pond . Can't get over all this!

There is a diamond in this rough, can you see it? This is the old utility building soon to be the first project on the farm. The building is as long as our home.
